Install oiler, brake, tank and chain tensioner tonight. The brake spring was easy using my drum brake for cars.

I was having issues installing the chain tensioner and was looking on eBay to order one and one of the vendors had a series of install pictures. Install was easy after seeing that series of pictures.

Where do they go or are they duplicates of something that came assembled .

Thank you

top 2 go on front of tank housing
metal bushing goes on brake lever
the bellow goes on throttle rod
rubber bushing with metal goes under the flywheel side case as bushing for tank
second picture the bushing on the right goes through the flywheel case for shut off wires
not sure on the other 2 right off my head

Yep. Few part #s-
Tank ring is 1128-791-8400. They're usually installed on Farmertec tanks AND included in rubber kits. Save it for future 1122 or 1128 builds, they tear.

Metal bushing is 1124-792-5505. Without a bushing it's impossible to torque brake lever close to spec.

Top pic (next to ring) looks like rubber bushing that goes around metal bushing in brake. Part # 1124-792-5505. Hard to see on my phone, though. They sometimes come installed in brake.

16 was off but have a 24 on another saw. Just wanted to get it running. Only made five cut as it was starting to rain.

Started adjusting the carburetor. I'm guessing since opening the muffler it wanted to be richen on idle was over 3200 leaned out so clutch wasn't spinning. Went to high and it's only a little over 10,000. Leaned it out and got it to about 12,400 and it backfired letting off throttle. FIRST casualty is my fault . Flywheel key sheared. Left the nut loose. Sounded a lot more powerful.

I installed a "no name" tach from HL Supply (just says Tach/Hour Meter - Waterproof - Made in China)

on my Flying Tiger. Figured the best place to mount it was in the hole on the chain brake (with zip ties).

My idle bounces around in the 3,000 s, but the clutch does not spin, and when I hit the throttle it generally goes to somewhere around 12,800 to 13,200. The plug tells me it is still a bit rich, but that is OK, I've done some milling with it.

Put a 24" bar on it tonight and used a tank of fuel cutting firewood. Number two problem but not a big deal, handle came off recoil starter. I think the rope snapped at the knot in the handle. No sign of a knot when I reinstalled starter handle. This thing is a Beast. It out pulls my bb Makita 84cc .

My ms660 has been sidelined for a while due to me assembling last time the flywheel keyway missing. I did not find any parts of a keyway when I took it apart. Also had to order another flywheel from HLSupply @Gentleman because I knocked it off the bench and broke off three fins. Upgraded to a D shaped starter handle from @Definitive Dave . The handle was a definite NEED. This thing has more compression then my 064 or Makita BB. Makes it much easier to start. I'm thinking of putting one on my 064.

Cylinder and exhaust side of piston looks good.

I've been running rich.

I'm wondering if I did not get all the metal out of the bearing from the factory as I noticed when putting the saw together.

Crank rod bearing feels crunchy but the piston bearing is smooth. Case bearings I won't know until the case is split.

I did not like my lower crank rod bearing (and commented so at the time), but no way to change it, and it seems to be holding up so far. Have don a decent amount of milling with it, so I am calling it "good".
