I agree sadly. They’ll have to if they want to stay relevant at all. If Redmax becomes another line of homeowner saws what was the point?
Redmax it's not looking to be in the logging market. Their focus is Landscaper, and Arborist markets with handheld equipment /commercial mowers.

The lawn tractors, push mowers, snowblowers is a Husqvarna marketing mistake.

Seems like a good way to get good quality saws in landscaper's hands to me. If I were starting a business I would like to have all matching branded equipment, buy and 1 place and get it serviced at the same 1 place.

I agree it’s stupid to have Redmax brand saws but they didn’t ask me or you. Currently they offer the larger Jonsered saws in the lineup. As those larger model saws are replaced by the new Husky equivalent then it makes sense to give Redmax new saws, no? If they don’t then this experiment ends rather quickly.
