Huh?

I'd expect more advance to speed it up.

Before the advance, I couldn't slow it down
while tuning but it didn't hold rpm in the wood.
I was 3 turns out on the H, running a wj67 with .74 jet, seeing 14,400 - 14,700 after a terrible bog.

Hard telling where timing is at with the AM flywheel and coil

Checked this morning, lost 30# compression.
Lower ring has a bevel where it was passing a transfer port. Cylinder has light vertical striping 360 degrees.

Even the skirts were dragging, front and rear.

Also small marks in squish band, most likely small pieces of plating missing from cylinder walls.

Took .004" more off the base last time it was apart.

Seen a Mako cylinder the plating was bubbling on. Saw wouldn't tune for long. Pulled it down and there was a spot the plating was a small bubble. If it had burst it probably would have done some damage but the rings didn't cross it.
