He loves cutting with me. The 395 pic was to mess with a buddy that said that saw was too big. He has since taken my 241 as his instead of that echo IMG_2275.JPG IMG_2278.JPG

I’m not sure what they were for originally. Something my dad came up with scrounging stuff on Craigslist or the Facebook yard sales. We’ve got 15-20 of them. They hold around 1/3 cord

You guys with young kids are so lucky to have this technology. My son and I spent many days cutting. Great memories but not many photos taken.

Here is a picture of my son and the dogs , my boy is 10 now and he loves to help. If he gets bored he goes and shoots his pellet gun. The dogs loved going out in the woods gathering firewood, they spent almost 14 years going out in the woods with me.
    This is a great thread.

I love scrounging around for nice windfalls in the National forest, I feel fortunate to have the privilege to cut them up for firewood.

Got to love that. My old man bolted wood blocks on the ford 2n so I could reach the clutch and brake petals for me when I was that age.

Quick trip this weekend to a little firewood honey hole behind a client's rental units. Squatted the 3/4-ton pretty good. Even after heaving most of it up into the bed by himself, he was hoping for a second trip!
