When you're in 115-120° all day for 10.5 hours of a day it's rough. 2-3 gallons of water a day easily

Believe me I know it. Those old Locomotives don't have A/C. Many don't even have a fan.Water,water and more water. Scatter ice on the floor. Put ice cubes in your ballcap to melt. Even manscape. Every little bit helps.

We had a charity cut a couple years ago in ozark.
I swear it hit 103 or 104 by mid afternoon.
@Hinerman could say just how hot it got..

But it was brutal..

I ran out of sweat.

103-104º with no shade and no wind, probably a heat index of 110º+ when you consider the humidity. We were all sucking wind. Had cramps in places I never had before. Makes you feel alive,,,if you survive.

when it is that hot it is always a good idea to keep salt pills on hand
that and 6 gallons of iced water.
