Depends on where the woods are.

For around the house, if the only thing I'm carrying is a centerfire handgun, one of these is generally with me. T-B, Ruger GP100 .357, Ruger Sec Six .357, S&W M57 Mountain Gun 41M, Ruger Blackhawk .44S.

If I'm carrying a rimfire, it's mostly one of these. T-B, Ruger GP100, S&W 617, Ruger SP101, S&W 617.

If the woods have big bitey critters, like in Alaska, or Chicago, I'm never without one of these. T-B, Ruger SBH Bisley .480, FA M83 .454, Ruger SRH Toklat .454, Ruger RH .44M. Not the prettiest handguns around but they make big holes.
