A quick question fella's.

How unobtainium would a coil and a complete starter assembly be for a 900evl?

Brought out my tired old 350TES to do some pruning at home today - WOW! I'd forgotten what a great saw that is :) I've been using my 360TES at work & had convinced myself its as good as the 350, its NOT.

I'm a big Echo fan and have a CS-3000 and CS-400 that I like very much, both picked up cheap as no-starts on Fleabay. Also have an SRM-225 brushcutter and GT-200R weedeater that I'm very happy with. I might be able to pick up a nice 2015 CS-490 for $180.00 (negotiable). Still has original bar and chain, most of the paint is still on the bar and the chain doesn't look like it has been sharpened much. What say you on this one? Since I don't really need it I'm thinking of offering $150.00 just to see how bad they want to move it. Yeah, I know it won't do anything my Dolmar 5105 won't do, but darn it those Echoes are just habit forming!!

The CS490 is a very well built saw. I think it being priced at 50% of MSRP is already a deal. If $150 is a no go, you can always come up a bit.

I was really hoping you'd say it is a POS not worthy of the Echo name. :buenrollo: If it's still there next time I'm down that way I'll see if we can seal the deal.

It's all stock and I might run it on a mill just to see how it does

I'll stay with the 7 cause it pulls pretty good with that

They do pull like a train. Until I get a mill set up I'm gonna run an 8 pin and 24" for stumping. And out here in Kansas the stumps I'm running across ain't that big.
