Neat little 50cc saw. Mag cased clam shell.

Pretty gunky, should clean up well.

Cleaned up well considering..

Ample port size for any echo I've seen. Only thing I can't figure out is why they dropped to a at size carb from hda....

I think I remember you telling me your idea for this saw. Stoked to see it worked out!
This one wasn't discussed lol. Forgot I even had it till the other day. But some of the parts from what we discussed were used here.

Wow should be a great runner even with stock ports. But the trans and ex can come up a pile. Look forward to how this turns out.

Very cool amigo, I like seeing new stuff done. If someone was handy they could also add material to the piston and have it machined to spec :)

Probably should have checked the timing with the stock piston first. But I got carried away making the hoosky piston fit.

Probably gonna raise em up 5* or so

The taller piston is the easier way to go. Just had to open up the pin boss a bit for the echo rod to fit.

Probably could have shaved .015-20 off the piston, and cut the band less to get the numbers I was looking for with less grinding.

Hopefully I can find another 1 or 2 of these to play with...

Should be faster than when I started...

Anxious to get this one going. Figured with all the extra comp the higher exhaust should be manageable. Wish I would have took the time to clean the stock piston and get some baseline numbers.

Have to wait till my 530 shows up :)

we can calculate it if we know how much shorter the pin to crown height is. I think you will be close with the numbers you have.

I'll get some measurements tomorrow. Was thinking about plugging the numbers into the program. Cause this clamshell thing adds some difficulty to laying out ports with a ring and degree wheel.
