I know from the atv community that the E3's were known for losing electrodes and trashing motors. I wouldn't run them in anything. More parts to possibly break off is not a plus.

Definitely good to know this. Not that I would ever switch from Bosch or NGK. But just good to know.

I think they are the best.

Have seen two Champion plugs drop an electrode. Used Bosch and NGK no problems. Dealer now pushes Oregon plugs, they will cover engine repair if it drops electrode (so they told me).

Several years back my dealer only carried Bosch. I had good luck with them.
I used Bosch for a long time. Some were made in Brazil. They seemed fine.
Now they are being made in China, too. I only use the Chinese one for pressure tests and spark checks. I don't trust it. Only NGK for me now.

I never run Champions either. That's interesting on the Oregon's. Wonder if it's like the Opti 2 mix, 100:1 oil warranty?

Champion plugs are fine in American made Briggs & Stratton type engines.
