Here's my build thread for the China 660 saw. Everything pretty much went together without a hitch. I like the way all the screws and bags were labeled, made it very easy to assemble. I used the bearings thst came installed in the case. The one felt a little rough but figured just run it and see what happens. I took seals out and used seals and case gasket from another kit I had. Heated the case halves and dropped the crank in and pulled it through the rest of the way with the case screws. Then installed seals. One of the pieces for chain break was not cast right so I used an oem I had laying around. ( can't find the pic I had of it.) Just the little arm that's held in by the little c clips. I used an oem wrist pin bearing and circlips. For the cylinder I used the mmws cross kit. It looked pretty nice out of the box. Had sone casting flash here and there and needed bevels put on. That all got fixed though when I ported it. I took .030 off base and band. My numbers right now are 102,120,84. Squish. 020. I'm running it there to see how it does then will go back in and change the intake probably. I just cleaned up the uppers and lowers, added bridges. Exhaust was raised, intake is untouched. Intake was pretty wide already and had more timing that I like anyway. So I left it. It's running the aftermarket carb, flywheel and coil. I took .025 off the key to advance it. Carb seems to tune in ok, no real problems with flooding. The on, off, choke lever doesn't work properly. The throttle lock won't stay engaged. So after it fires on choke you have to hold the throttle on with one hand and pull with the other. The chain tensioner is crunchy like others have said. I think I might switch the bar studs because the shoulder is pretty small and is a pita to mount bar. The head of screw for bar plate was also to big and got in the way of mounting bar, do I took it out for now. I think that's it for now. I'll add to it as I progress.
