Next I think they call this a spotting drill ,5 HP single phase converted line shaft machine circa pre 1920 .number 4 Morse taper ,power feed x-y axis table like a milling machine ,sliding gear transmission ,4 speeds with 3 options giving it 12 speeds with a reverse .Although I've never done it you could power tap with it .Speeds and feeds listed for up to 2.5 inches .I don't have a bit that large--yet

Couple more .1938 Allis -Chalmers model B ,crank start .I rebuilt the engine when I was 15 years old and painted it as a project in Vo-ag. I made a couple hundred every spring plowing peoples gardens.
Last used when I plowed the sod in preparation for my shop that had been in grass for over 50 years and was so tough I could not sink the blade of a D4 Cat .The little darlin went right through with the front wheels off the ground about half the time .It's not stuck although it's sat since about 1996 .Also one of my TO 20 Ferguesons,1950 model with a big bore kit and a Davis loader .

My grandfather had an old press like that hanging in the barn .As a little boy I had the bright idea of seeing how it worked .It did but it wore old a 9 year olds little arms .My first wife's grand dad did too but he had an electric motor from an old clothes drier doing the work .
