So, I've got this little Maruyama MCV 51 (Dolly 5105) and I love it. I've cut quite a bit with it and decided it was time to turn it up some. It's got about 15 tanks ran through it.
I started with the MM and opened the ports a bit. After measuring squish, it was apparent that a base gasket delete was not possible without lathe work.
Anyway, I've got it all put back together and she's solid but I'm noticing that the multi switch is a little sticky. It should be spring loaded to the RUN position. When I press the switch down slightly it doesn't spring return to the RUN position. Also, it seems a bit of force is required to get it into the choke position. I've loosened the carb and intake screws and it operates normally. As soon as the screws are seated it starts messing up again.
Not sure what I'm missing here, but everything seems normal compared to the IPL.
