If I’m running a 20” bar it’ll be on the ported 562 or some other strong 60cc. Especially for small/medium size firewood. Larger bar than that I prefer a 70cc, though the 562 will handle a 24 fine in hardwood if I desired to run that setup. A 20 is a nice setup on 60cc in hardwood imo. But yeah anyway... back to the OP... sorry for sidetracking your thread lol.

Doc McStuffins built me a Sporty MS361, but I too suffer from no love for the tweener saws.

A 70ish cc saw is a proper saw.

That MOFO MS361 is Sporty however.

The tlandrum 361 I have is a great runner with a 20 and nice for larger limbing.
The greatest thing about them is how close to a husky they feel, just need to bend the handlebar a little :D.

Thanks for all the replies everyone! I ended up finding a 7900 locally. Big shout out to Chipper1. Had a couple of conversations and I’m grateful for his input. I’m an independent logger and depend on my saws. I was always curious about the 7900 and hopefully I won’t be disappointed. Thanks again
