Kenny she’s a bute.

You got the big top on her?
Nope.
Vurn got the big top and a dolly upper AV mount from TCEdge. Check pics again 54mm.
I need to measure the drum and oil pump shims to get them in right. The carb is back off and the filter. It's been run once. Muffler needs done next. I should get the jug cleaned up and put the lil one back together. Found a good 47mm jug for the other one. Pistons I have look iffy. They need some measuring.

Depending on price, I’d like a set of the small spikes
I'm interested if they aren't made of gold prices.
I can do the following!
Please make sure we are talking about the same spike set!

Small European spikes:
- outer EU style , part # 957 250 060 - 13 Euro
- inner EU style , part # 038 250 021 - 15 Euro
- shipping to the US 100 - 249 gram package - 9 Euro
SUM: 37 Euro/set shipped (with tracking number)

I took the liberty to round the shop prices UP, if that is deemed unacceptable by any interested parties the same should say so and I will correct the posted pricing down to two (2) digits behind the dot.
Posted price is AT COST to me without any handling fee added, it also does not include any shipping cost to me from Germany since I got them as spares in a previous parts purchase.
I will have to insist on funds being transferred in EURO via PayPal Friends & Family - I have been hit with PP conversion fees too many times already and I am getting sick of them!

Feel free to acquire a price quote from anyone else, I am fine with that!

I happen to have two (2) sets available, so I can cover both @Adirondackstihl & @Woodpecker if You are still interested.
Please take note that the inner spike does not come with any mounting bolts as PH case bolts are utilized.
Additionally I have to point out that I have OEM mounting bolts for only one outer spike, but I will include two inner-hexagon head bolts and two nuts for the other (the bolts may require a little trimming)!

These two spike sets are what I have at hand and I can not guarantee this "at cost" price on acquiring any further sets.
Any other interested parties please (EDITED) see the thread I made in the parts sale section (EDIT END) and I am willing to organize a group buy with full disclosure of costs.
Thank You for Your understanding.

My deepest apologies for this minor thread derail, I am merely trying to offer my help to fellow members (aka "chainsaw nuts").

I just received a PM form a member interested in a EU spike set and I came to realize that the PM system will not work as I have envisioned!
Interested parties would have to be invited to an ongoing conversation to participate which will complicate things as they would have to out their interest first in order to get invited.

A dedicated "Dolmar parts group buy" thread in the Parts section of the Chainsaw ads sub forum would be better suited after all.
I'll create one so we can see if there is any interest.

What does a guy do for an outlet on these? @Mastermind says not to big or it hurts torque. My muff is untouched and has a 5/8 hole roughly. Just hog out under the deflector?
Yes, grind the original outlet to maxed out size and keep it like that.
I recommend to maintain the ability to use the stock spark arrester screen.
I have done this on all mine but my PS-6400.

After

The SLR muffler allows for even more area under its deflector.

I left it inside so the gasses don't hit the mufflers front half directly, but I drilled all holes open from 5mm to ~7.5mm and ground the cages lip more open.
I did this on my PS-7900 & PS-7300, they sound great and run awesome!

Sorry for the flipped pictures, the forum software strikes again.

Everybody else seems to just toss the bird cage out though.
If You decide to toss the cage beware, its base doubles as a spacer between the two muffler halves.

I got 10% gain doing this in timed cuts. I might go back in and remove the birdcage, but it seems to have responded well to this. Next up I want to advance it and install a mesh filter.
