Haven’t seen a definitive thread on these saws, so thought should make one! Post up pictures of em, possible mods to do, porting, cutting videos ect. Anything regarding them this is the thread. Here is my 7900 orange top I got recently, loving this saw already. 08F835F7-87B9-4833-9729-23C0482A82BC.jpeg

I believe it does, I’ll have to see where it starts making the tach go crazy.

Hurray Dolkita! I'm partial to the smurfs, but adopted a red one from somebody's scrap pile just the same.

'For Parts Only'... I don't think so. The other one I got in a box was actually a parts saw. This one just needed the parts they robbed, the top end off my first smurf, the cat removed, and somebody who knows how to treat a lady right.

I was wondering about that idea of the stihl chain catcher or something like that. Just drill some holes and mount it is all?

@fordf150 had them a while back. I was ordering the dogs anyways, so I just grabbed this one at his recommendation.

I don't remember the P/N or which model Stihl it was off of, but you can always contact him and ask. It bolts right on to the Dolly dogs.

Ahh ok I have the older 3 point style spikes. I like the 3 point spikes anyway. Perfect size. I suppose I could drill a hole.

I wouldn't be able to let go of that Dolly!

That Dolmar and Solo would have made for a hot pair together!

Love the Iggy bar, gorgeous saw! :)

Those are still my favorite dogs. Gotta cough up the money one day and get a set.

Interesting how these saws seem to change color with lighting. They look red outdoors and orange indoors. :roto2nuse:
