I think I've heard the husky 272 coil will work. @Poleman might be able to help with the carb info.

It's not exactly what I want for size, but has anyone heard anything about the Echo Timberwolf? From what I am reading it is pretty much the same saw as the cs-600p but with a few 'budget' features, but with the same professional grade case and engine. For the money ( less than $400 ) it seems to be a very well reviewed saw. At 60cc's its a little smaller than I would like honestly, but I don't know if that extra 10-15ccs is worth twice the money...

Just a thought.

If you are looking to build a fast, reliable and competitive race saw for a 60cc and under class i would get 357xp install a properly ported 359 cylinder and piston mod the muffler advance the timing and smooth the carb. We have had great luck with ours over the last couple of years.

ok yesterday i work on the cylinder, raise the transfert to 125 and lower the intake to 85,i drill small hole on each side of the transfert, like that i have enough of room to work with the pencil grinder, and patch the hole jb weld, start the saw today and try ajust the carburator but 2 turn on the high and 1 and a half on the low screw.the carburator are not feeding enough of gas.
With an intake that low you may need some carb work. You can do a carb swap, or drill the main jet, or tweak the metering arm a bit

Are you positive your holes are sealed up? I like the idea to do the work thru a access hole makes it easy to control direction that way i bet.
