OK, my apologies, I did not know that.

I have my MMWS6100 since the 16.04.2019.
Started her twice without the bar mounted.
Mounted the bar once for taking some pictures.
She'll get the chance to prove herself, this year I have place an order for two truckloads of firewood logs instead of one.
No apologies necessary. Did you get to run it stock so you can compare the difference?

It felt like a lot to me. The 6100 felt like a dog to me stock.

The first time I used my 6100 I thought it was a beast, but the biggest saw I had run prior to that was my old 50cc Husqvarna.

It's all about perspective lol. The 6100 has the same foot print as my Jonsered 670 so that is what was throwing me off probably.

No, I have purchased the saw already ported.
I also never owned nor ran a 6100 prior to this one.

Honestly, it doesn't matter much to me whether she is noticeably stronger than stock or not - when I desire power I just pick up my PS-7310 & PS-7900.
I mostly purchased the 6100 because I didn't have one.

Since You can not see my signature, I own these:
Sachs-Dolmar 105 (40cc, top handle)
Sachs-Dolmar 108 (40cc, rear handle)
Dolmar PS-311TH
Makita EA5000 (Dolmar PS-5105)
Dolmar PS-550
Dolmar PS-6100
Dolmar PS-6400
Dolmar PS-7300
Dolmar PS-7310
Dolmar PS-7900

I am still missing a modern 20cc, 40cc & 90cc Dolmar, we'll see how acquisition of those goes. ;)

Why have a 64xx, 73xx and a 79xx.
Is that when you want your cutting just a bit slower? I would say, get 3 79xx then. (Or add the 9010[emoji6]).
Nice collection either way.
And how do you like the 5105? I hear mixed reports.

No point in trying to explain it to You if You don't understand it to begin with! o_O

No idea how the EA5000 runs, she is mine but not yet in my possession - she is taking a side trip from the dealer to a massage parlor. ;)

You'll like that one a lot! I ran a ported 5105 and it was life changing lol. Pulling a 20"3/8s like it was nothing. I had to keep look down to remind myself that I was only holding 50cc saw.

That is an impressive collection You have there!

Except for the SD105/108 I am not very interested in the older models.

My collection is reaching full capacity as it is, only a PS-420/421 and PS-9010 would be nice to have at some point.

I can hardly give my current lineup the attention and workout they require.
I think I have enough saws for two or three lifetimes.

You mean you don’t need a 143/153/166??

I’ve been looking at the newer gas makita top handles but don’t know who is actually making them now. And how they would actually stack up against the newer echo 2511 and the stihl 150. I have a 200t but for the little I use it a smaller lighter saw would probably due me just fine.

Most of the makita/dolmars I have acquired easily and on the cheap because people can’t find parts or they want a Stihl... the 5-7x 9000/9010’s that I own were ones I had to put some decent cash down for.

A 166 would tickle my interest a little, the others not so much.
120's pop up every now and then, a bunch of 112's and 116's al the time - meh . . .

In my area sellers want the same amount of cash for a used 112 as they ask for a used 420 or 7310 - given the choice I'd take the 7310, think hard about the 420, and neglect the 112.

I passed up a great deal on a new DCS9010 once, for a combination of several reasons coming together at the wrong time - this is the only chainsaw related buy I regret not seeing through!

The best chainsaw related buy I ever made was getting my PS-7900 at a good price, 6 hour round trip worth every second of it. :icon12:
