This is one I never thought I would sell but I have an itch to buy another square body. Need to sell a few saws to free up a little more cash.

Very nice Dolmar 6000i, has the old owners initials engraved in a couple spots, otherwise mint. Asking $325 plus shipping

Lots of options $ wise, I could install a low hour 6800 cylinder with a new piston and keep the current P&C, could send the 6800 cylinder along as an extra, etc.

That's a clean saw for sure. Does the 6000i have the longer stroke of the 120si/6800? I had a few of these a some years ago, and the same question was asked about bolting on the super cylinder to a non-super. I figured it wouldn't work because the stroke difference. However, if someone wanted to mill 1mm off the base of the super cylinder it would probably work but I don't know anyone who has tried.

The old 117, 119, 120 saws had a shorter stroke than the 120 Super. The 116/120si and 6000/6800i saws have the longer stroke.

A couple of pictures of the MINT 6000 saw. I am sure my good friend Chipper1 who overlooks everyone of my post WOULD LOVE TO COMMENT and give his opinion on what a MINT SAW. Everyone knows Chipper1 is an expert on what should be advertised on all chainsaw forums under the heading of MINT SAW!!

Whoa, is the skirt showing significant wear? Could you find a bad bearing throwing chunks? Hope you caught it in time.

We have worked out the difference and the saw is going back to Shorthunter. The skirt was fine on the piston and cylinder only had tiny embedded marks on top? To my best evaluation it was debris sucked it. For a quick short period before I bought it.

Glad it's worked out. Not sure why you felt the need to make this post but hope you feel better now.
