Going back together almost stock.
I rotated the ignition module a smidge to advance the timing and I will delete the governor when I rebuild the carb.

My air filter, gas cap, fuel line, fuel filter, and a couple other smalls still haven’t shipped from Jack’s, in fact, the ship date has been pushed back repeatedly.

Yep been there done that with them after about a months time. They finally refunded the money.

I think the fuel cap is the same as alot of others. @166 probably has all you needed.

Dave bumped me to get mine done so this is my bump for him.

I had a 181 vstack and filter here. Had no luck finding a straight elbow to use so this my ghetto fab for the filter. Hardware had no allen 82* m5s. Had to use philips. No psp here.

If that was REAL get o fab their would need to be a half roll of duct tape holding that down.

Jack’s pushed my order out again, that’s fun.
I did order a fuel cap elsewhere so I should be able to fudge the rest at least for a test run.....or two.
Hope to pressure/ vac. Test as well as improvise a fuel line today.

I may use a piece of aluminum later.

Used a couple M5 bolts to hold he top cover down, one required a spacer.
Made an air filter gasket.
Ordered an air filter from eBay, cancelled air filter from Jack’s.
Fuel cap should be here by Monday.

I’m open to advice and discussion, I’m no expert.
As it sits it’s at .040” squish, 105.5 exhaust, 122 transfers and 130 intake duration.
Base gasket will be deleted to net around .020” squish and I will raise the exhaust to 103ish, if my blowdown ends up around 20, I’ll probably leave the transfers alone. I’d like to be around 150 degrees intake duration.
Timing was advanced a smidge Upon assembly.
All of this is subject to change.

Perhaps @Redfin may share what he did?
