Someone smarter than me please school me on a dolmar 133. A local guy has one should I buy it? Does anyone want one? I know their 85cc other than than I know nothing.

Looks in good condition, their main problem is loss of spark, the module is mounted under the flywheel and its common for them to cook the module. When I got mine it did not have spark but I did have spare modules.

I may be interested if the price is right. As mentioned before, ignition coil is the weak link. If I remember correctly, @cuttinscott told me at the NYGTG that they are also known to spin the PTO side bearing. He is really the guy to speak on these old Dolmars. Parts are tough to find.

Like Basher stated, There ignition systems are there biggest fault
other wise the 133 is a great saw. Lots of torque for an 85cc saw.

Along with that. I have had 2 with ignition issues. Both had a corroded kill switch wire. I soldered in new ones and bada bing. These are great runners.
