does stihl 261 clutch drum fit to 026/260?

Hello to all!!
Rebuilding 026/260 from a junk pile, and noticed that clutch drum from a 261 fits quite nicely on 026/260 (with a adjustable oiler) clutch, and lines also with chain on bar.
Is there any way to know for sure, other than running it, if it works?
Just trying to save few bucks ( = euros )....

I think some of the old early 026 clutch drums may not have the little cut out for the worm drive. The Ms260's have it, so yes they do interchange.
