Does anyone have a shop repair model for a husqvarna 455?

I am trying to replace the induction manifold and would like to know if I can do it without removing the cylinder.

I believe you can. Sorry nobody got back to you on this. I believe you meant to say service manual, not shop repair model. I know you can do this with a Husky 51.

I replaced a case on a 455 before, from what I remember the cylinder would have to be removed for the easiest way to do it.

I believe both the induction manifold and the carb can be removed and replaced without removing the cylinder. However, both the induction manifold and the carb have to be removed in order to replace the cylinder.

If you follow the instructions in the workshop you do but it can be done without removing if you got the patience aand pay close attention to the reassembly.
