Saw this at the mid Atlantic nursery and trade show in Baltimore last week. Looked pretty cool. Like a mini trencher. Looks like it’s a Makita powerhead, said 81cc. Probably based off the concrete saw. Wasn’t sure if anyone else had seen these before

Those things are slick. What would something like those cost? I’ve gotta trench for electric line to the new shed this coming year and owning one may be more fun than renting a trencher. Maybe turn in to a part time business.

Thanks. For some reason when I tell the wife it costs $2600 and $125 to rent a trencher I think I know the response. I just hope that if I die before her that she doesn’t sell my saws and guns for what I told her I paid for them.

I think the one I took the pic of was the HD version. I think it was close to $3500

I bet it goes through sprockets and bars in a hurry! :eek: With all the sand we have around here, it ought to last about an hour.
