Difference between 044 and 460 fuel tanks?

I bought an 044 frankensaw a couple years ago and am still trying to figure out the where all the donor parts came from. I know the case itself is a 12mm 044, I was able to identify that tonight. Is there a difference between the fuel tank/ lower handles of the 044/ 440 vs the 046/ 460?

I have the air filter base and cover for an MS 460 with HD filter. The cover doesn't fit with the lines of the saw. I also have a air filter base and cover for an 044 with an HD filter but they don't seem to fill well together with the filter. How do I figure out which parts are the correct part for this saw.?

If you thumb through this thread there are a ton of pictures of the 044 fuel tank and all of it’s related parts. You should be able to identify what you have from the pictures.
