Hi guys! I had a lot of fun with all of you in Nov. We had a great turnout, lots of saws, good people, and good food! A bunch of you asked if I would do it again in the spring instead of waiting til fall. I'm good with that.

Just remember @166 is having his on April 24 in Upstate NY so we should keep a little distance from that date.

Let's hear your thoughts. If the weather is nice I could do it earlier, or a few weeks later is ok too.

Maybe eric can post some pics and video here of last year so y'all get the idea. I was so busy I only got before and after pics...

Hey Mattyo I was about to go over to the "other forum" and let you know about this one especially this thread.
Glad to see you've landed here. Gonna test the 262 after lunch... got the day off from work so I'm glued to the computer with the saw forums at the moment

One of my favorite videos from my collection due to the smile on Fred's face at the end:

This is the saw my brother and I refer to as the "Murder 346".
OE saw, NE piston/cylinder, muffler mod, work done by nmurph.

BTW: Bob (spike60) from Ashokan Turf and Timber noted that OEM piston/cylinders took a big price drop to compete with aftermarkets. If you want to turn your OE 346 into an NE which adds 5 cc's now's the time.

Mustang Mike running one of his, some carving, and from 3:22 to the end is the 460 Dan had gotten from Randy? Maybe it was a 460 hybrid with something -- cutting fast!

the first vid is my stock cylinder 350 ...45mm ... runs just a tad behind my hyway 350 elsewhere in the video mix here...

and sorry, ya can't run the 394...its sold

maybe I'll build another for the next gtg

385 is nice. I should have run it while I had the chance. Just test ran my 262 after the clutch drum/spiral washer fix we are good to go!
