What is it with football teams from Georgia, that they can't play 60 minutes of football? First Atlanta, they can only play 45 minutes, then the Dawgs, looked like they only played 30 minutes. :hum:

Was a good game to watch..........I don't care for who won though......I still think they shouldn't have been there to begin with. Just sucks there won't be anything good on TV to watch on Saturdays till next fall now. ;( Come on August, just get here!!

I disagree. Georgia played 60 minutes. The difference was Saban putting Tua in. Hurts has struggled when facing defenses that force him to pass all year. Tua should have been put in earlier in the year but that's ok.

He's on administrative leave??
I know you are not supposed to enjoy schadenfreude, but when it comes to OSU vs. UofM... I'll take it. We lived through the Fab Five and other controversies. OSU will make it through this (and the rapey sports doctor) scandals and return to the top someday. For now, it's good to be a Wolverine.

Just gonna say the truth, Urban Meyer is one of the four best coaches in the nation, Jim Harbough wants the playoff to include 16 teams, cause that's the only way he is getting a team in it. I am all Bama but facts are facts, only 2 coaches have led multiple teams to championships that are coaching currently, the GOAT Nick Saban, and Meyer.

Facts are indeed facts. With me, and Michigan, it's not all about winning (even though they have more in the W column than ANYone). It's about what kind of human beings are coming out of the university among other factors. Look past the years spent there, what are alum accomplishing, how are they representing the Maize n Blue. I'm damn proud to say I'm a fan[atic] of the Michigan Wolverines. GO BLUE.

I have to say today's reports change nothing to me in how I feel about Meyer or OSU, I am still going to love to root against them but I know a team he brings to the field is going to bring there best and if my team wants to win, they better bring there A game. I hate what happened to Tressel and Paterno, not eveythever that happens is the coaches fault.

Preseason top five is out
1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Georgia
4. Wisconsin
5. Ohio State

Personally I would have ranked Clemson #1 due to there defense mostly returning and there QB coming back, Bama has a lot of spots to fill from last year on defense but Tua should make the offense much better, 9 days till the season starts! Roll Tide!

OSU has officially admitted that Urban did something very wrong in a domestic abuse situation, BUT, winning football games is WAYYYYYYYY more important. Weakness incarnate. There is really no other interpretation of this decision. Either he was wrong and needs to go OR he was in the clear and deserves no punishment. BUT, apparently covering up your assistant coach beating his wife is morally equal to not coaching three irrelevant non-conference games. (?????) Live with it OSU and move along. Your university values football wins over decent human actions. There is no other interpretation. FWIW, UofM took down the Fab-5 banners. As the ancient proverb goes "A fish rots from the head down." Urban Myer is Don Draper IRL.
