Coil for Briggs 19.5 OHV Intek

Mice got my plug wire. I'm not surewhere to look. Only numbers I can see on the coil are 07 41. Any ideas on a part number or where to call?

There are 2 different coils depending on date code. Part #595304 before date code 16080900 part #594626 after.
Get the engine numbers off the valve cover to be sure. Model # starts 33R877

The model# of the actual mower is probably on a sticker under the seat.

Thanks, I'll look more in the daylight. Was dark by the time I found the issue, and couldn't find the engine tag or anything like it

The date code is staring you right in your face. It is 2007 Dec 17. But if the coil plug wire is the only problem why not replace it though a new coil would work too.

Sorry to say the high tension leads are replaceable on these coils. And yes there coils that they can not be replaced but the coil in the picture they can be.

And yes I do replace them here. just need a 7mm lead, new terminal ( 90 degree or straight), and proper boot.

Some B&S late model engines have the numbers in odd places. The engine on my push mower has it stenciled into the side of the crankcase, hard to read under the grime that accumulates there.

Straight post most times but very old ones may have screws and the lead is epoxied in place.

Thanks everyone, I found the engine info and located a part # using B&S website. Its going to be about $30 shipped to me and should be here by Monday

The date code is staring you right in your face. It is 2007 Dec 17. But if the coil plug wire is the only problem why not replace it though a new coil would work too.
