There was a post, on Facebook huztl group about c springs.. a o44\440. With f-tec springs
I’ve took a screen shot and kept p/deleted the peeps names out. But that’s me not posting peeps names around the interweby ;)

There is enough bad info in the picture to call it fake news imho. Those springs just snapped like the ones that I put in, no where near the attachment point. Also Stihl brand springs took care of the problem. As well as the clutch in this case was not worn out, hence the spring replacement. Have seen numerous clutches plum wore out without broken springs in them. They turn blue/purple in color when over heated by continually slipping, this one is just dirty. If it's diameter is good and the shoes not floppy on the mount it's not wore out, just needs real springs.

Ahh, cheers for the insight and heads up. I really hate fake news. :(. There’s just too much out there.
