I was going to buy a pair last week. Then noticed the actual protective layer of fibers didn’t start until about 10” below the waist line. Didn’t like that for what I do, not a climber guy. These were both styles of Husqvarna protective pants, I opted for a pair of Labonville chaps that had full protection of my thigh.
Would’ve loved the pants for the convenience and comfort.

Something to look out for if you’re like me and want your entire leg protected.

I have labonville brand, I really like them, they are a bit heavy but have protection from top to bottom.

Thinking Labonville for my next chaps. Like chaps for ground work cause they are cooler in TX heat and can take them off before I get in the truck.

I believe for climbing use, doing lots of reading the last couple of days I will probably go with Clogger Zero pants
