Did a few more cuts today in a good 12 - 14 inch log today. Leaned the hi a tad
and this thing pulls strong. Got to work on a video but man is it cold outside.

Mike, It scaled in @ 19 pounds with a new 20 inch aluminum core bar
with about a half tank of fuel and oil. Using a digital bath type scale.
Probably not the most accurate but all I got.

Not to bad today but didn't get home till after dark. I'll get a video
up as soon as I can. Want to get some more run time on the ole
girl too as well as tune.

Mike, I have been in Pawling visiting family the last two days. The snow that rolled in dumped some good heavy wet snow overnight. The snow flakes were the size of silver dollars.

They live at the top of a good sized hill. It's a nice view up there.

The views up there are beautiful, we bike up there a lot, and the ride down is exhilarating!

That could be a possibility. He told me he's used his firewood reserve and needs to cut every year to keep ahead now. I bet he would entertain a little barter. I'll be seeing him again within a month I believe.

OK, Great! It is hard to get permission in that area! They are either anti hunting, or they do the hunting themselves.

Would be nice to play with the saws on a nice piece of property.

He said he had lots of dead standing oak to cut. We also talked about hunting (previous this conversation) and he told me he caught someone dropping off people and hunting his land illegally. Said he put a stop to it. Idk if he has the room but he does let people hunt it and he is not a hunter himself.
