Very cool! About 10 years ago you could get a cylinder bored and re-plated (nikasil) up here very reasonably. Sadly, that is no longer the case and now is north of $300 for a single cylinder.

We got another 2 today, but only a few in total. I guess a little NW of you they are getting slammed! Some of my cousins are not happy campers at the moment.

Correct amundo, It's a 116SI

I've got a pair of circa 1980 114's. One runs pretty ok the other I think has a bad coil and thinking they have one chain brake between the two but both have covers. Are these saws worth anything? I don't even mess with old saws anymore.

Got me wondering think I'll go out in the 0 deg old shed and grab a snapshot....brb

They were great 50cc saws back in there day. Ignitions are prone to failure.
I see them on ebay every now and then. Clean ones can bring maybe a buck
and a half, maybe a tad more. Dirty used up ones I have bought for as low
as 50 bucks.

Saw is running and is very snappy, And sounds awesome. Hope
to get time today to give this new 76.5cc saw a run.

Question Lee, since the result is the same cc as the Stihl hybrids, do you know the approx weight of the powerhead?

Seems like a real nice build, can't wait to see it in action!

Well, I made a about 8 cut's in a 8 inch piece of hard wood. And she seemed to
run pretty good. Still running quite fat. Looking to get a few heat cycles so the
piston will take shape to the cylinder. Will run it again tomorrow.
