Case splitting tools

Has anyone used one of the weld together kit case splitting tools? They are reasonably priced. Any experience with them is appreciated. I didn't find any info from searching the forum.

works great on almost all of the older Husky 1-2-3 series saws ( no crank stuffers) and some Stihls. Can be made to work with the larger 1128-22 stihls by "Spreading" the fingers to reach across the crank and into the case lip.
so in short, yes it will work. but so will "Heat and a Hammer"
