I was looking through some chain. I had some New Carlton Box chain. I opened it up. Yuck!!!
The safety link chain is 16" .325 .063. I filed the gullets first, then the tooth. I like it much better now...
I also had a 16" .325 .050 regular raker chain. Looked the same. I performed the same filing to the chain.
Just filing these 2 chains completely killed a brand new 3/16s file. These cutters are Hard Chromed metal!
I will put both in wood and do some vids...
Anyone else mess with box chain before using it? Lol
