Picked this up a couple years ago, have no idea what it is other than it is a homelite and it has been on a kart at some point. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If it is indeed a good motor I'll be slapping it on a old homelite 500 for a vintage kart saw project. Thanks in advance for any help.IMG_20180415_132032150.jpg IMG_20180415_132020247.jpg IMG_20180415_132124996.jpg IMG_20180415_132221137.jpg

It's likely a KL-92 or KR-92. Those were pretty common. There's a KR-100 but those are pretty rare.

Judging by the configuration, I would guess that it's the KL-92. The Homie "Zip" saws are a good source of parts for the Homie kart engines.

You have to be careful when converting those over to the saws though, as they're usually reverse-rotation compared to the saw motors.

Now that you mention that.. yes, it is opposite rotation of a saw. seems like it will be a close match for the saw though. I'll have to take a look to see what it will take to change up the timing to run it on a saw.
