Well for a long time I believed that the 346xp was the undisputed king of this class and that the lowly 026 was sitting in the back of the bus permanently.
Well that might not be true (like a lot of what we learn on the internet :).

Doc Al sent me a new cylinder to swap onto my Mofo 026. This is the first time that a regular 3/8 chain was faster than a pico on an 026 that I have run.
    Testing, testing, testing.....

It’s pretty hard for a dual transfer port to out compete a quad transfer port: there just isn’t enough time/area. My guess is Al put in some finger ports. What’s the compression like on the 026 cylinder?

    Slick!

The picco set up is interesting. Would be interested in the part numbers for the sprocket rim, bar and chain.

    Damn!
That looks like it is much faster. Are you sure that 3/8 chain was “regular”?

I doubt Dave has enough tanks through the new jug to be fully broken in yet.

Jeff's preemptively making excuses for the stihl in case it gets beat and he's not there to defend it...
