Built my own mill today

Well I said in another post a week or so back that I had ordered materials for a CSM build and today I started and nearly finished it. I had a design in my head and I executed it well enough but there is going to be a modification to get it to function smoothly in the short term and then a little reworking to make it nicer.

The main thin I am going to modify is the bottom rail of the clamp. I am going to add a runner there with tapered ends to allow the mill to better slide against the bark of log or the side of the cant. In the futur I will rework the design on that end to better incorporate that feature and maybe design it to be able to bolt the saw directly to the mill.

That's awesome Troy! Glad to see the bar and chains made it to you. That mill looks awesome. I look forward to seeing some milling shots when you get there.
