1999 Dodge 2500 Laramie slt. Got the good ol 5.9 24 valve cummins with a 5 speed manual. Runs and drives like a champ even with 264K on her. Has one ton leafs with air bags in the rear.
Engine has a cold air intake, upgraded intake elbow, and mild tuner. Been daily driving it for 5 days now with no issues. Needs a crank sensor(rpm gauge quits once in awhile and trips the check engine light) but other than that Everything works as it should. Hoping she'll be a good runner for the next few years.

Oh yeah, makes for being able to put a *s-worde ton of weight in the bed without a bunch of squat.
Yeah I get that but its sounds like someone over loaded the *s-word out of it repeatedly. Now I would like to make a leaf pack with half of the leaves gone and some bags, to try and achieve an "optimal" combo.

Nice truck. You just dont see them that clean out here.

Yeah the tuner has an alarm set to let me know if fuel pressure goes to low, it also has a fass lift pump as well.
PO kept the cb. haha It's actually nice with that 4th gen center console.....more storage and turns into a middle seat.

I'v got one of those in a dually.
But it has a 16" crack at the bottom of the water jacket on the passenger side.
Truck was free, just had to payDSC00644.JPG duty on it.I was going to try and weld it in the truck, but have found a block for the same price as the truck.I just have to find the time to pull the motor and switch blocks.

If that is the bad one then yes.
I did look it up a few years ago,but put it on the back burner.
I may have to do a cross Canada trip,so it is working it's way up the list.
PO put in a new 5 speed and transfercase before leaving Colorado so it's worth the time to get running.Needs a good cleaning he had dogs, lots of dogs.
