My bunks on the trailer are set pretty far to the outside of boat. Was wondering if i should move them back in. They were in more when my dad baught the boat. Not really sure why he moved them out but i was worried it may put too much stress on center of boat bein that far out.

Whats your thoughts.

They used to be on inside of the boat rib.

It probably "drives on" better that way. It shouldn't hurt that aluminum boat. It is probably better set out like that. Check on the Tin Boats forum. I've always had good luck on that forum. My patrol boat is a 21' Triton V hull aluminum boat. It has two bunks per side. One of my personal boats is a 18' AlL Weld and is setup more like yours. The dealer set it up.

The boat is probably stronger near the chines. If I did anything, I would swap to 2x6s if they are 2x4s. Hard to tell in the pic.

Only thing I would maybe do it put a couple roller guides down the center
I was thinking about putting roller down center. I been looking at different boat trailer and noticed some have them and others dont.

Yours doesn't need that. It's a standard bunk
It's designed to sit on the two bunks. Likely the only thing a roller is gonna do in the middle it cause chatter. You really wanna leave well enough alone Not trying to sound like a know it all but that's a bunk trailer. Rollers have a purpose. For example. If you came in nose heavy it would guide the nose out of the water. This is more useful on heavier boats
What you really are looking for on a bunk style trailer is a nice smooth glide
