Best splitting maul no axes

I was looking on the site for splitting axes specifically. That looks like a regular ax. It is nice. [emoji106]
Not sure if it would last with me. I am a heavy striker.

The 6 lb. Seymour I got recently is very nice. Better than the cheap looking ones they sell at box stores and hardware stores around here for the same price. My little Estwing Fireside Friend just rocks for the small stuff, easy as driving nails.

Got a company I deal with sometimes and they are stocking these and this council maul 6lb is only 35 queen Elizabeth pounds
Any idea what there like ?

I picked one up ,in doug fir the x27 worked better for me ,the head on mine came loose first day also,can happen with any brand though

Anyone have any long term feedback to report on the Gransfors Bruk Splitting Axe or Splitting Maul?
I am a pretty heavy striker. I don't mind spending the extra money on it, but just want to be sure it will last me.

below is a Helko Works axe 4.5lb the cheaper version of the axe you have listed the handle is the same I didn’t like it as a splitting axe it was a bit bulky and clumsy so I cut another up and made this maul

Mmmm the perfect maul...not yet but trying to find it is how you end up with a good collection of refined metal chunks attached to wood stick's. The market is good many vintage hand forged bargains to be had, great new cheap composite designs, good quality hand forge producers supplying husky, Stihl & Dolmar. The day the perfect maul is created, I'll refuse to accept it & continue on my search.
