I think yea use to be Carlton. I have bought half a dozen loops in the past or so. I thought they cut as good as Oregon or others

They cut well to me. I could be wrong but the steel feels slightly softer to me when I file it than a oregon chain. And way softer than a stihl.

Wow. Cool. Thanks for the info. [emoji106]
They have the 10 loops for $100 sale going on right now.
I wonder if you can mix and match to get to the 10 loops?

I'm not sure, but that's a good deal either way.

My last chains were purchased from left coast. Oregon loops, 10 for $100 free shipping.
I am wanting to try the new Oregon EXL stuff.
This is the first time I have used the Carlton. It seems to hold a edge as long if not longer than Oregon lgx.

I like Carlton, but for me the metal used is like titanium. Very hard to sharpen, but it does seem to hold an edge well. To me, Carlton feels harder than Stihl. Oregon being the softest.

Yes it is Carlton chain. I run full chisel woodland pro, Stihl and Oregon brand. The Carleton and Oregon seem to be similar softness when sharpening with a file. They all cut well when sharp but the softest ones typically dull faster. I’m also very picky on stopping often and swapping chains.

I don't know if it's normal or not but the last lazer chain I bought from my local saw shop was Carlton also.
Stamped on the tie straps.

That’s an awesome deal Jeff, but I can’t find it. You got a Link?

Also, if anyone wants to split an order with me, I’ll take 5 loops of either
