I purchased a LBRC 2500 in July with a bad #6 cylinder.

The PO had someone swap in an NV-4500 & the old 48RE was part of the deal.

I’m just now putting my hands on the 48RE.

Nice. 48RE from Jeff and his bunch will hold up extremely well if you get tired of shifting. I went back and forth with buying another truck for farm friend had a 01 DRW flat bed with bad NV4500. I ended up passing on another yard ornament to go with the 17 for the time being.
