Guys I decided I’m gonna remove the gas/oil cap tethers off my 562 too to save weight. They just get in my way.

162se handle bolts up nicely. Just needs a little black paint.
More compact handling saw plus saved another 3 oz:)

Maybe delete the red light and adjustment grommet saves a few ozs? They just get in the way...

Another few posts like this and I'm going to nominate you for the Hemerrhoid of the year award, you just don't quit! You must have ended up with one of those heavier 562s that actually weigh more than my 362 Ver I and you don't want anyone to realize it! In fact, they are just as heavy as the new 462!!!

Full skip chain vs full comp may help save a few ounces also....

I hear an Ax only weighs 5 lbs.
    Could save a little there.

Not only that but it's rotating weight too. Better sideways balance also because less gyroscopic forces.

To summarise, 462 v 79xx is a tad unfair on the 462 based on displacement and it doesn't stand a snowball's chance, ceteris paribus?

Maybe a better, closer run-off would be 462 vs 7300?

I deleted that super heavy 6th case bolt. It got in the way and pissed me off . Maybe I won’t need those pink weights after all?

Too bad he is not closer, I'll run it with my MOFO 460 any day of the week. And the weight of the two saws is about the same (460 may even be lighter, case is smaller than a 461).

Keep in mind my 7900 isn’t even ported. It has nothing to prove or loose against a ported saw of similar size. Especially considering I didn’t run the same b/c as the 460. It was unscientific gtg fun.
