Anybody run a 462 head to head with a 7910?

Mason knows the deal. His 7910 is a great running saw. Runs fast and strong for the mods he did to it.
BUT it did not beat a MOFO fully ported 460. 79cc vs a ported 77cc. I dont care what bar and chain combo.
I will not speak about it any more.
I'm out.

So does the 681 crank fit in the dolmar or do you have to use the 7910 top end on the 681.

There is a solo-dolmar stroker combo. Usually it's talked about as the 7910 dolmar cylinder being put on the solo. Which ever crank is the one in question from the correct solo saw(6XX), can that crank go into the dolmar case with the dolmar cylinder completing the same stroker configuration?

Never tried to fit a Solo crank in a Dolmar case. I’m sure it would fit wit minimal work. 1mm isn’t much at all.

If you do happen to find one, you may want to send it to falicon to get the ends welded. They were known for coming apart

Quite honestly acquiring the 7900 made me not as interested in the 572 or 462 but I still want to run them

462 is way lighter, you may want to pair them (same weight as your 562). Don't think a 462 will take that one out stock, but ported it likely would be fun!

But, no harm keeping what you've got, a nice lineup.
