Wondering what anybody else uses? I have a pair of 36" redfeathers but they met their demise today, any recommendations for a new set? I'm a big feller and thought about wood but not sure how they'd last.
Any snowshoers?

I had two sets of wooden ones back home in Alaska a set of the long trail shoes and a set of modified bear paws for carrying on the snowmobile while trapping. The last a long time with proper care. I would revarnish them every summer.

When she not using them, I leave my Bear paws behind.
They really shine in steep Mountain Terrain!

I believe my old Bear Paws are Faber.
