Thanks but I think I’m gonna buy buy one of these, simply because it looks cool and being in my 60’s I think I need my first custom muffler. :)
Nice! I told my self if I get a saw that he makes mufflers for and the saw doesn't look like a dog chewed on it I'd be giving him a call.

Another question. My Makita 6401 has a 24” bar, this Jonsered 2166 has a 24” bar. Will the 2166 pull a 28” or 30” bar or just stay at 24”? Just wondering because occasionally we get a bigger tree, oak, given to us to cut up for firewood. Thanks again.

I want to say yes it could run it. And your welcome. Next time I'll try and talk you in to getting it ported lol.

IIRC that saw has removable transfer covers that can be grinded on and it'll be on par with a 2171 or 2172. I can't remember which one.

According to my custom muffler man it’s the 2172. I’ll check it out tomorrow. Just take off the top cover and grind them off on both sides of the cylinder?

I don't know. I've never seen one in the flesh. I have some 670s a 2188 and a 2040.

I have 3 of those mufflers in the pic..they are every bit as nice as they look. Mr. Gott does excellent work. @MG2186
