Its a dump truck K3500 so I can lift the body up and get to the tank.

Next problem fix my 97 K3500 fuel gauge isn't working. Its pinned below E and shakes.

Will do.Can I buy a fuel gauge separate from dealer ?

Some models you could get the sender separately, tell them you need a fuel level sensor if it is bad. It's not to hard to replace, comes with a new pump module seal.

That code is for right side, rear sensor, should read close to the left rear sensor.

So ohm it out and compare or how do I test it?

After the engine gets up to operating temperature, you use the scan tool and monitor the sensor, compare both rear sensors, the right one should look close the the left one.
