Next problem fix my 97 K3500 fuel gauge isn't working. Its pinned below E and shakes.

Pull pump and test sender, had problems with the contact fingers wearing out, bad design.

Some models you could get the sender separately, tell them you need a fuel level sensor if it is bad. It's not to hard to replace, comes with a new pump module seal.

That code is for right side, rear sensor, should read close to the left rear sensor.

After the engine gets up to operating temperature, you use the scan tool and monitor the sensor, compare both rear sensors, the right one should look close the the left one.

Forgot to say it should be steady, not going up and down on the count compared to the front sensors.
