What kinda bit are you using there?
I need to pick up a longer one like that. Could see where it'd be handy.I did the shaping with these three Carbide burrs. Two on the bottom are eBay (Chinese) specials and the one on the top is from CC specialty.

Thinking about raising the trans to 115 ish. Cant really drop the jug very much to get the exh roof lower as there is not much meat left on the exh side piston skirt.
I wouldn't go down much more than 120 but that's just me.I would be worried about making the transfer lazy going down to 115 … will someone more knowledgeable than me please pipe in and say if I'm right or wrong? IMO, 120 S/B OK.

I had an idea last night and was curious to know if it would work. I got up before everyone else and went to fetch one of the 661 carbs I had for the conversion from MT. It's a Walbro WJ135B.
With a few adjustments, I think it's going to work real nice. The WJ69 was a little sketchy. Filled with wood chips on both diaphragms and some rust on the impulse fitting and L/ H jets.
The 69 has a main jet size 54 and the 135 has a 61. That should feed this beast pretty good I think. If it needs more I more drill it to a 70.

That carb was filthy, worst I seen in a while
Hm... i was thinking leaving the clutch cover grey to make it look pro
ordered a .074 for my wj69
And paint the STIHL letter orange.I may go that way yet Adam. I've gotta do the clutch cover again. It didn't turn out the way I wanted.
no sir. will try it on a stock when it comes in.Are you running it on a ported saw, Gary? I followed @Mastermind 's advice and hand drilled the jet to 70 on my 461.
I'm curious to see how this WJ135 will perform.
