Where us the picture of the boat?

I'm looking to upgrade my boat say to 24ft. I've been told a standard 041 is good up to 18 and this 041G is good for 24, it's at the max but should still be a good anchor.

dibz on the Windsor bar?

I'd be glad for someone to have it. I've got a 24 that going on that saw.

I sold an 041 for almost nothing a few years back. Carbs cost an arm and a leg today if you can find one. I also repaired an 041 for a friend five years ago. He died suddenly but thanked me for doing it before he passed away. 'Nuff said.

If it had been a standard 041 I would have never bought it, this is the 1st 041G (gear reduction) I have ever seen

Wow an 041g! That’s neat, plus she’s got a full wrap. Is it points ignition?

Don't know, I just got it and it will be a little bit before I can get into it. I'm not going to restore it but clean it good and make sure it's 100% and then it will be on the market for a new owner.

Congrats, I need to talk with you again in the future. I'm thinking if you have room in your museum I may have a couple of relics for you to consider.

Yall don't know much about boat anchors.
Need about 20 deg down angle with some weight on the back end.
About 8' of harvester chain for the anchor lead to pull the rope angle down for the whole thing to dig in.

All that and then you need to consider bottom type, mud, sand, rocks etc.

A bow saw would be a better anchor.

The 041 is a cool old beast.

Glad I did the right thing. I moth balled a Titan and placed it in a logger's favorite bar for discussion over beers. The data shown here in Post #9 speaks for itself.
