He builds one hell of a saw for sure. I'll have to get a video of the 261 husky he ported. It's crazy strong.

Yes it is on the portly side, but not an unacceptable weight for its power. Its still relatively nimble for its size as well, at least for me. Compared to a 394/395 it feels more maneuverable.

1992 1999 1999 1992 I've got a question on older vs newer 288's
I came across a similar deal as JonCraig a few weeks ago except it was for two 288's. Neither one runners.
Looking to make one a runner for now and the other will be a complete tear down.
One seems to be a 1992 and the other is 1999 for sure.
We're the older versions a 52mm and the newer 54mm? They seem to measure that way but I don't find that info on line.

The 281 is on a 288 chasis and is some pretty good scoring in the p/c. But compression is still pretty good, 160ish.
