I do have a 394 elbow here.....was planning on reverse engineering it and possibly making it into a vstack.
I hear the 394 HD elbow is NLA now?

An idea...If i were to design an vstack "adapter" for the 394 elbow and it needed to be glued on, would you be open to that?

395 is the same bolt pattern as a 288 and 2100. Sounds like you could make a universal one with tabs to mount into the 394 shelf that could be trimmed off if not needed.

395 necks are like 12 bucks last time I bought one and EASY to mod to fit a 394. Pointless to compete with that. Your market is a custom vstack setup imo. Just offer two bolt hole sizes for the two models. 395 takes smaller intake bolts than 394.

And what has your experience been like?

all good as the only thing that gets to the filter is the super fine stuff and that taps out
real easy then just a 1 min bath in petrol and bobs ya aunty .

now this is the inside of the filter and nothing made it through so I like the setup .

I love these HD2 filters so far they are the only filter that stops redgum fines
and are no different to clean than the old flocked with the felt band to clean .

I clean air filters on average 3-6 times every day of my life.

I can take a soft bristle brush and clean off the flocked filter for a 261 in about 10 seconds and the filter looks new again, on the HD2 if it packs good enough I gotta sit there and dick around with a carb screwdriver and tap it out on a log.

Maybe they are different in Australia.

That’s sounds horribly inefficient. You think someone would have figured out a filter by now...
